A change in daily living habits, stress, fatigue, environmental aggressions, and hormonal and metabolic imbalances have caused a constant increase in the number of people who complain of hair loss over the past several years. The causes of abnormal hair loss are numerous and can manifest themselves in different ways based on age, sex and the pathology that is causing the loss. Increased loss, often associated with more or less widespread thinning, is the primary symptom of many hair disorders. Amongst these the most widespread are Increased Hair Loss (Telogen Effluvium) and Baldness (Alopecia Androgenetica).
Telogen Effluvium is abundant hair loss during the resting phases (Telogen phase). This disorder mainly affects women and can be caused by a variety of issues: acute or chronic stress; illness; surgery and some pharmacological therapies; hormonal imbalances and pregnancies; slimming diets; poor diet; and scalp problems, like seborrhoea or dandruff. It is treated with active ingredients that stimulate the hair to return to the growth phase, along with the removal of the cause of the problem.
Baldness is the most common hair disorder and affects approximately 80% of men and 50% of women. It consists of the progressive miniaturisation of the hair follicle, caused by the action of the androgen hormones in sensitive persons. This sensitivity depends primarily on an enzyme, 5-alpha reductase, which turns testosterone into its most powerful derivative: dihydrotestosterone (DHT). When the levels of DHT are high, the follicles produce hairs that are increasingly lighter and thinner, until the hairs become an invisible fuzz. Interventions to counteract this are based on the inhibition of the 5-alpha reductase enzyme.

P Factor Lotion Donna Intensive is a topical treatment that has been specifically developed to treat female hair loss, especially loss tied to androgenetic factors. The formula, prepared by Kemon's Research & Development laboratories, combines the properties of numerous active ingredients contained in the exclusive PF Complex CS including: Stem Cells from Grapes, Non-steroidal inhibitors, Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids of plant origin, Plant Extracts, Minerals and Vitamins. Grape Stem Cells are the latest scientific finding from research done in the cosmetics field: in vivo* tests have demonstrated that the application of topical products containing the meristematic cells of grapes increases the antioxidant and anti-free-radical ability of the skin by 120%. DISTRIBUTION AND MASSAGE
Once application is complete, massage the scalp with the fingertips of both hands moving in circular motions from the hairline towards the crown, until the product is fully absorbed. Then style the hair as usual. To increase the effectiveness of the treatment it is fundamental to massage the scalp in a way that stimulates the micro-circulation and tones the scalp; your hairstylist will be able to provide you with advice on how to best do it.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS
Intensive treatment: daily application, for at least 48 days, to be repeated as needed.
Prevention/maintenance treatment: apply every other day, for at least 48 days, to be repeated twice a year. It is recommended to use P Factor Shampoo during the entire treatment cycle to properly clean the scalp and hair and P Factor Scalp to regenerate the scalp and increase the effectiveness of the lotion.
Warnings: for external use. Do not apply if scalp is broken, irritated or affected by other problems. Do not ingest. Keep out of eyes. If the product comes into contact with eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of water; if irritation persists, consult a specialist. Keep out of reach of children.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
How to open the bottle: remove the cap turning it counterclockwise; screw the dispenser/applicator onto the neck of the bottle and proceed with application.
Application: distribute the content of the phial onto the scalp, drop by drop, section by section, using the tip of the applicator to make the divisions. To make the treatment more effective it is recommended to apply the product to a clean scalp.
